Virtual Balloon Auction

Virtual Balloon Auction

Lifting SIR Foundation up during COVID-19

COVID-19 forced us to cancel the 2020 Gala, our only fundraising event of the year, but IR research continues and we proudly introduce the Virtual Balloon Auction to propel innovation, advance the value and quality of IR through evidence-based practice and data collection, and provide critical visibility to the specialty, the work of SIR Foundation.

Here’s how it works:

Make your gift: From Tuesday, Sept. 8 through Friday, Sept. 25, make your gift at sirfoundation.givesmart.com. Gifts of $100 and above will be recognized with a virtual balloon displaying the donor’s name to signify their giving.

Be recognized: Different color balloons denote different giving levels--$100, $250, $500, $1,000, $2,500, $5,000 and $10,000. Balloons will be displayed until the auction ends and then moved to this page.

Help spread the word: Donors will receive a graphic with the color of their balloon to share on their social media accounts to acknowledge their gift, help spread the word and encourage more virtual fundraising.

Your gift makes interventional radiology research possible-elevating IR and enhancing patient care everywhere. Thank you for your support of SIR Foundation!

Meet the researchers

Your gift to SIR Foundation funds research and each researcher has a story. Over the next few months, we will be sharing their stories with you. Meet some of the researchers who will be featured in this series.
